SC-1000 is widely used by pool builders and plasterers to protect new pool surfaces while they cure. It keeps calcium in solution. It is also used to help remove and/or prevent scale and metal stains.

SC-100 is an NSF/ANSI 50 Certified chelating agent, which holds calcium and metals in solution, therefore preventing scale formation and staining when used as directed. It is an alkaline product, and compatible with cementitious surfaces like plaster.

Unlike most sequestrants, SC-100 contains no phosphates. Because of this, SC-1000 is compatible with phosphates removers and other specialty chemicals, so you avoid conflicting chemistries, and wasted money.

DOSING INSTRUCTIONS
Startup (purge): One (1) quart per 10,000 gallons of water. When doing the Orenda Startup, add SC-1000 as the water begins to fill, or to the pre-dissolving calcium. See Orenda’s startup procedure for specific details. For purging an already-filled pool, pour SC-1000 into the skimmer or gutter.

Maintenance: apply three (3) ounces per 10,000 gallons of water every week into the skimmer or gutter.

Note: SC-1000 purge dose depletes chlorine levels in the water. Test chlorine levels following initial application, and adjust as needed.
